The Maine Aquaculture Association is a non-profit representing Maine’s aquatic farmers and working to support Maine’s aquatic growers in developing economically and environmentally sustainable business practices, promote the benefits of aquaculture in the local food system, and preserve Maine’s working waterfronts.
The challenge was to design a brochure mapping aquaculture producers’ distribution in Maine using content written by the Client, plus an infographic summing up the results form a public survey developed by the Client.
Science Crunchers developed the graphic and editorial design, incorporating custom icons and illustrations to emphasize the benefits and challenges of distribution methods. The result was a visually engaging and easy-to-read brochure, ready for digital dissemination.
As for the infographic, Science Crunchers consolidated all relevant information into one visual, highlighting the numbers and stats. The infographic that was then turned into a Social Media carrousel.
